Health. Wellness. Two terms that most feel are synonymous - yet, they are distinctly different. We live in a society of immediate gratification, and the one thing that most, if not all, cherish as they get older - is wellness. Money, nothing, can buy wellness.
We live in a society in which the focus has been on addressing symptoms of maladies rather than the root cause. This is the western health care system. It, systemically and foundationally, does not create wellness. Most Americans today are on, or have been prescribed, some or many types of synthetic drugs or medication. It is rare to find someone middle aged who is not on some type of long term prescription. Health care costs and prescription costs are skyrocketing. Side effects of prescription drugs and increased reliance on them to 'heal' maladies is creating a sick care system, not a health care system focused on creating and achieving long term wellness. Certainly, western medicine has many wonderful advantages - surgical interventions, trauma care amongst the most successful. However, when it comes to addressing health symptoms, synthetic drugs have created a paradigm whereby society has become reliant upon them rather than trying to get to the root cause of the malady, curing it, and achieving wellness.
We have been down that road as have most. After having been diagnosed with a severe and chronic illness, it has lead to an amazing journey. One that needs to be shared so that others can see the power of how wellness can be achieved. How root maladies can be managed without synthetic prescription medicine. How one can feel at their best with no side effects. How using one's own immune system can get to the root cause of many maladies to create wellness. Our body's evolved over millions of years. They are an amazing and complex machine, one that modern medicine understands but yet attempts to cure through synthetic means when, in actuality, it has developed it's own systems to cure itself provided the right steps are taken. Through years, now decades, of experiences, we look forward to sharing the many facets of our journey to wellness with others so that others can learn how to truly achieve wellness. It is up to each person to choose what they wish to do with their health; we simply want to make people aware that there are alternatives to achieving wellness without having to take any synthetic medication. Once wellness is achieved, you will be amazed. It is empowering. You will never look back. You will feel in control of your own health - the path to wellness. Welcome.
